Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ENGIE.
Analyst
First, a case study on the energy sector (challenges, news, outlook, prices, etc.) or a client summary/presentation. Then, a general discussion about motivation. The process included one remote HR interview and two in-person operational interviews. Finally, confirmation.
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Analyst
I recently interviewed at Engie and was impressed with the recruitment team's organization and professionalism. I was welcomed warmly and met some employees. The questions were relevant and well-structured, and the interviewers seemed genuinely interested in my skills and experience. I also learned more about the company culture and growth opportunities. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I'm excited about the possibility of working there.
- What motivates you, what are your salary expectations, tell me about your experience and elaborate on it.
Senior Analyst
First I talked to HR. She was super nice and told me a lot about the company. Then I met with the hiring manager and some of the team I'd be working with. HR asked about my background, experience, and past jobs and also described the company. The hiring manager was more interested in my experience and what I could bring to the role. They explained the position and my responsibilities really well. Everyone I interviewed with was friendly and professional.
