They asked me some regular questions. Then they gave me a document to prepare for a presentation. Some young managers asked me some questions. Then everything was done. The company makes software for environmental stuff. It's not a big company. A small building is right beside the road.

I submitted my resume online and then got an email asking for my availability for interviews. The initial interview was an hour long, which felt pretty long. The hiring person then told me I passed and could schedule the second round, which was 4 hours long, which was amazing. They also asked for writing samples and references. This felt weird because usually, these materials are requested after the final interview. I sent them, but never heard back. Speechless company.

The interview process started with a 20-minute presentation on any topic I chose. Following that, I had individual one-on-one conversations with each of the three co-founders, which lasted about an hour in total. The entire interview process spanned roughly 4 hours. During these discussions, they spent more time talking about the company's strengths than asking about my background. I felt they were trying to gather personal information, like my relationship status, to gauge my potential tenure with the company. They also offered unsolicited advice on personal conduct. A few days later, I received a call informing me that I had the offer. I confirmed my acceptance three days after that. However, it took them about two weeks to send the official offer letter, and I had to follow up to receive it. This delay complicated my relocation plans. When I requested an additional three days to sign the offer due to my situation, they rescinded the offer immediately. While I understand it's their prerogative, their actions lacked consideration. Later, a former employee mentioned they had only been with the company for a year, contradicting the claim that most employees stay for over five years. The former employee also indicated that the work-life balance, which I was told was good after familiarization, is actually poor, similar to other feedback. It seems they often misrepresented the reality of working there.
