It was a pretty solid interview process. I first had a call with HR, and then a follow-up with some more experienced developers. They were nice and professional, but didn't really get into the details of the role or what they were looking for. I don't recall them asking me many questions about myself.

Applied online and then had two opportunities for interviews. First, a phone call with the engineering VP where we talked about my past projects and the technology I used. After that, I was given a take-home coding assignment, which was pretty simple. I got rejected after submitting the code.

Behavioral Coding

I had an initial HR screen, then got a coding challenge that wasn't too hard and took about an hour. About two weeks later, they reached out saying I could move to the final round. The final round had 5 interviews with around 8 people total. I felt the interviews went well and everyone was nice. But, about an hour after finishing, I got an email saying I wasn't selected, with no reason given. It's frustrating not to know why, especially after coming so far and getting a quick rejection.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Tell me about a recent technical challenge you faced in production, specifically a debugging issue, and describe how you resolved it.
