I first connected with the company at a career fair where my experience seemed to align with their work. They gave me a business card, and I also submitted an online application. We kept in touch, and scheduled an interview for after my semester ended. There was a first round interview, then a final round interview at their headquarters. The first round was one-on-one, while the final round included both panels and one-on-one discussions throughout the day. The interviews felt more like getting to know each other and seeing if I was a good fit, rather than a stressful test, especially with their strong company culture, which made it enjoyable. They were focused on confirming I had the necessary technical expertise.

So I had an interview on campus first, and then about a month later, they invited me to ERS headquarters for a full-day interview. I got there at 9AM and left around 2PM after lunch. I spoke with an HR person, an executive, and two groups of three employees. The HR chat was pretty relaxed, just some personal questions about my background and hobbies. The executive I met with was a bit late, but we mainly talked about my previous work. They threw in one simple logic question. The panel interviews were more in-depth, with employees asking specific questions about my past roles, interests, and school projects. It felt more like a casual conversation than a tough interview. The office vibe was pretty chill overall.

The interview process kicked off with a phone call, then moved to an in-person meeting at the company's headquarters. When you get to the in-person part, you'll be meeting with about 5 to 8 different people, usually in groups of 2 or 3 at a time. They make sure to make you feel welcome and comfortable throughout the whole day. A lot of the interviews happen around lunchtime, giving you a chance to chat with some of the team members during the break.
