It was mostly competency based, not very technical, and very deadline focused because of the different business units and the group size. There were 3 stages: first with the recruiter, then my direct manager, and then my direct manager again with a team member from a related area to check for company fit.

First there was a phone call with HR about a week after I applied. Then, there were 2 interview rounds. The first was with a manager where we talked about my background, experience, problem-solving skills, and cultural fit. The second was with senior analysts, focusing on project scope, experience, and cultural fit. I heard back about the results about a week after the interviews.

They contacted me after I applied and were quick. First, I had an interview with HR, and then immediately with two hiring managers. After the second interview, they ghosted me. I tried reaching out to HR multiple times via email, but never got a response. I did the same with the two hiring managers and heard nothing back. It left a poor impression of the company and felt unprofessional. I don't expect a response when I submit my CV, but I do expect some feedback after two interviews.

I applied online for the Director of Recruiting role at Fifth Season and was then contacted by an HR team member. He mentioned my background was a good fit and that he was new to recruiting, hoping to pass the task to someone more experienced. He talked about diversity and culture fit. I was told I'd speak with a senior HR leader next, and the coordinator was quick to set up the interview. However, the interviewer was 15 minutes late to our scheduled Zoom call. He said we could finish in 15 minutes and maybe go a little over, but I had another meeting. We had a normal video conversation, and he said we'd connect again. The coordinator then asked for my availability for a longer interview with the HR leader, which I provided. I confirmed the Monday interview on Friday, but on Saturday afternoon, I got an email that it was canceled. I asked for details, and the recruiter messaged me late Monday saying the HR leader had an emergency and they would reschedule. A couple of days later, I asked about rescheduling, and the original contact told me, "We are still evaluating all candidates for this role. Although we haven’t made a decision at this time, we are holding on to rescheduling. We are hoping to get updates this week and will follow up accordingly." I reached out again two weeks later as I hadn't heard anything, and I told them I wanted to withdraw from the process due to the unprofessional experience.
