First I had a test, then I interviewed with HR, and then there was a technical test that included general Computer Science knowledge like OOP, operating systems, data structures, and software engineering, as well as specific knowledge for the role.

The interview is divided into two stages: a technical one and another to assess cultural fit, expectations, salary, benefits, and opportunities. The process is well-divided, evaluating not only technical skills but also interpersonal abilities.

The whole process took over two months to finish. I applied on LinkedIn and about two weeks later, a tech recruiter from Encora contacted me by email. First, I filled out a form with personal questions, technical skills, and areas of interest. The next step (still in the same week) was an HR interview with a tech recruiter, which was super easy and comfortable (40 minutes max, just questions about my life and what I like). I passed and the following week, I did a technical test that was sent to me by email. I had 3 hours to complete it, it had 10 multiple-choice questions about Java, SQL, and Javascript, and one open-ended question with a small problem to solve with code, in any language I preferred. I passed the test and then had a technical interview with 2 developers from Encora. I'd say this is the hardest part of the selection, so study up on networking concepts, Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Programming, SQL Joins, and object models. They'll have a list of questions for you to answer, but it's okay to say you don't know if you don't; they are very understanding. There's also a part of the interview where they ask you questions in English (your hobbies, favorite movie, what you like to do, your age); you can answer in English or not (I suggest answering in English). I passed this stage and got a lot of praise, which made me happy because it wasn't easy! After that, I had the interview with the manager, which was super relaxed. He sells the company and explains the responsibilities of the role, asks about you again, your likes, hobbies, skills, and your journey with programming. Unfortunately, I wasn't selected for the job, but I made it to the final phase.
