First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Encompass Health.
Intern
It was pretty chill, not too formal. Mostly asked about situations I've been in. They told me about benefits and what they expect from me. I only had one interview and they hired me. It was in person and I had to pass a drug test first.
- Can you tell me about a time you collaborated within a team?
Intern
I applied online for the internship and got a call about a week later. The recruiter was nice and we scheduled a phone interview for later that day. It was quick and friendly, with basic questions about my education and experience. The next day, the recruiter called to set up a second, in-person interview for the following week. I met with three people from the department, and they were all really nice and tried to make it relaxed.
- Tell me about your biggest weakness.
Intern
I sent in my cover letter and resume. Then I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager. We talked about how my past experience was relevant to the role. We also discussed the responsibilities of the internship and potential challenges I might encounter.
- Can you estimate the number of golf balls that could fit inside a basketball stadium?
