A staffing agency contacted me about a contract position. My resume was sent over. After about 3 weeks (during the holidays), I got an interview request. The interview was set for the following week. It was a 30-minute Teams video call with two interviewers. We did intros, talked about the company and role, and then dove into a bunch of mostly behavioral questions. Still waiting to hear back.

The process was fast-paced, with a lot of project management and inter-departmental coordination questions. They extended a verbal offer and encouraged me to resign from my current job. After I gave my notice, they rescinded the offer, stating they couldn't wait. This was despite them being fine with my onboarding timeline during the interview. It was very unprofessional and disappointing.
