Sales Representative
I got found on Indeed or a similar site where my resume was posted. Someone reached out to me and I took the call. It led to a chat with the recruiter, who then connected me with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was looking for someone with my profile. The whole interview process was surprisingly straightforward. I guess I'd had enough of jobs I didn't like, and these folks saw me as someone adaptable and driven. So, in this case, everything went really smoothly.
- What motivates you to sell flooring, and how do your qualifications align with this position?
Outside Sales Representative
It was a really simple phone interview with the hiring manager and another interviewer. They asked some basic things about my background and previous jobs. They explained what the job would involve and also talked about the incentives and training which sounded pretty good. The interviewer mentioned that carrying samples into houses in the Florida heat would be tough work, but I actually liked the sales part.
- What makes you want to join Empire?
Sales Representative
I did an online assessment test. Then, I had a phone interview where they seemed really impressed with my assessment results and offered me the job. However, I decided to decline the offer after thinking about it. It wasn't because of anything they did wrong; I actually appreciated the opportunity and had a good time talking with the interviewer. I ended up staying in my current role because I received a significant raise.
- Can you tell me about your years of sales experience?
