First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EMD Serono.
Senior Scientist
It was a two-stage interview. First, I spoke with a recruiter, and then I spoke with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was pretty rude, like implying that because I was laid off, there must be something wrong with me. Then they just ghosted me.
- Can you explain the differences between the transferrin receptor targeted AOCs being developed by companies like Lilly and Dyne?
Principal Scientist
It started with a phone interview, then I had to complete a questionnaire, after that there was another phone interview, and finally a full day onsite interview. The onsite day kicked off with a seminar and then consisted of 1 on 1 and 2 on 1 interviews.
- Present your past scientific work and the reasoning behind it
Senior Scientist
The interview was easy, though it took the entire day. The people were nice and easy going. I didn't feel much pressure from the work environment or much energy from the culture. Everything seemed slow.
- How would you design a synthesis?
