I'm in a selection process that has been going on for several months. After interviews with managers, I haven't received any feedback, and the recruiters have simply ignored my requests for feedback on the process. There's a lack of transparency in the selection process. I hope this is an isolated case and that other candidates don't have the same experience I did.

My application started with a LinkedIn link leading to Gupy. During the application, I had to complete an English test and a behavioral assessment. After almost two months, HR reached out to schedule a call with HR and a technical interview. The HR interview was quite straightforward. The technical interview was conducted with three engineers. They began by asking me to share a little about myself and my background. Then, I had to answer a multiple-choice questionnaire covering C/C++, OOP, and how to handle situations in the software development lifecycle. The questionnaire was a bit lengthy and included many academic questions, but also some real-world scenarios.

The process included an online English test, phone interviews with recruitment staff, and then an interview with the area manager and two colleagues who might ask you to do a practical programming test. On that occasion, it involved solving a problem related to file reading/writing and handling parallelism (queues, stacks), basically using C++. As usual, the interview questions are aimed at measuring your level of experience and knowledge for the intended role. There weren't many new things in the interview content. The process itself can take a few months (in my case, 3 to 4 months).
