The interview process involved an initial conversation with the candidate, which also included some English. This was followed by meetings with the analysts and the manager of the area. During these discussions, we asked about your expectations for working at the company, your experiences during college, any exchange programs you participated in, and details about your projects and past experiences.

The interview process was long. There were four interviews. Initially, no offer was made. Then, after about a month, an offer was extended and I accepted it, completing the drug test and background check. During this time, I turned down two other interviews and another offer because I had already committed to this one. When I inquired about my start date, HR was unresponsive for three days. On the fourth day, HR informed me that the offer had to be rescinded due to an internal candidate being found. It was a terrible experience.

The interview process felt political and disorganized. They were looking for someone in Strategic Management, but I made it clear my background is in Supply Chain. I'd consulted for Embraco in Supply Chain ten years prior through a top consulting firm. Since they'd interviewed many people without success, they decided I was the candidate, claiming my lack of Strategic Management experience wouldn't be an issue as the director would mentor me. Unsurprisingly, the director also lacked strategic management knowledge and was only in their role for political reasons.
