Campus hiring for SDE intern role (8 LPA offered). The process included 5 rounds: the first was an aptitude test, followed by two rounds of technical group discussions, then a one-on-one interview, and finally, what I think was a rapid-fire round.

So the campus recruitment thing had four rounds. First was an online assessment with aptitude and logic questions to see how I solve problems. Then there were two technical group discussions, the first one was on core subjects and pretty easy, just to check basics. The second GD was similar but harder, from easy to medium, to see if I knew the subjects better. The last round was a face-to-face interview, covering both technical and HR stuff. They asked about my projects, my background, and general HR questions, plus some medium to hard technical questions to check my problem-solving and technical skills. It was a good process, got tougher as it went on, to check technical knowledge, analytical skills, and how I communicate.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you walk me through one of your academic projects, detailing the problem it addressed, the tech stack you employed, and the results you obtained?

First there was an online assessment which was pretty easy, mostly aptitude stuff. Then a technical GD, which was more like a Q&A session covering OS, DSA, and CN. You had to raise your hand to answer, no hesitation needed. After that, a 1-0-1 round where they asked about my schooling, questions from previous rounds, and general HR stuff. The final round felt like they had already picked someone, but they conducted it anyway. It was similar to the previous round, checking more about me and my knowledge of networking and OS. They seemed to prefer candidates with Red Hat Linux trainee experience or those who rejected VIT for our college.

Confirmed questions7 questions
  • Were you educated in a CBSE or State board school?
  • Would you be okay with working in a field unrelated to your academic major?
  • Can you discuss your understanding of Operating Systems, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Computer Networks?
