Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at embedUR systems.
Network Engineer
It was more of like a Technical GD where they focused more on DSA questions like detecting a loop in a linked list (fast pointer & slow pointer) and OS questions like what is demand paging and segmentation.
- Can you explain Bubble sort and memory allocation in C?
- Do you know how to detect a loop in a linked list using the fast and slow pointer method?
- What is demand paging?
Networking Engineer
So the process has aptitude, technical group discussion, a technical interview, and then a personal interview. For the technical questions, they want to see your fundamentals in the domain, so make sure you're solid there. They expect clear explanations for everything.
- Can you explain the Linux kernel and what it does?
Network Engineer
The first round had really easy aptitude questions, maybe they do resume screening after the aptitude test, not sure though. The next interview was a group discussion, not a conventional one.
- Given a=2 and b=6, what is a + b?
- Given a=2 and b=6, what is a / b?
