The interview was surprisingly straightforward and relaxed. The interviewer focused solely on behavioral questions, steering clear of any technical topics. I felt that my upbeat demeanor and enthusiasm really resonated with them, as I made sure to convey genuine interest in the role and the company. They seemed to appreciate my bubbly personality, which contributed to a positive atmosphere throughout the conversation. Overall, I left the interview feeling optimistic and confident about making a good impression.

Hiring process started great. Phone screening from HR - scheduled virtual interview. Virtual interview with a manager-level person - scheduled interview with team members. Virtual interview with two people, in-person with another. All ended very positive. Throughout the process, I spent ~4 hours of my time for them. I received great feedback on each level, and I am more than qualified for the position. I was seeking a fair salary and was noted it’s within budget for the position. One week goes by - radio silence. Emailed follow-up and got a “I’ll contact you with next steps” reply. Another week goes by - radio silence. Emailed again and cc’d hiring manager and same reply of we will keep you in the loop. Emailed again today and received a standard “We are pursuing other qualified candidates” followed by reposting the job this afternoon. Long story short: If you don’t receive an email or call shortly after interviewing, scratch it off the list. They’re quick to communicate until they decide against you.

I first connected with Elliott Davis during their campus recruiting events. I submitted my application online via Career Services for an on-campus interview. This initial interview involved a casual meet-and-greet with a manager and a one-on-one with a shareholder. The questions were pretty basic and standard, like 'biggest strength' and 'why I chose accounting.' I was surprised to find out the same afternoon that I'd progressed to a second on-site interview, scheduled about three weeks later. This second visit included about 10 other candidates. It kicked off with dinner the evening before and then about 5 hours at the office the following day. During the office visit, I had individual interviews with all the management at that location, around 6 people. We also had some group sessions over breakfast where we chatted as a group and watched some videos about Elliott Davis. The whole office visit concluded with lunch at a local restaurant. I received the job offer about two weeks after this visit.
