Recruitment Consultant
I was given a phone interview followed by an in-person interview that lasted a few days. The phone interview the lady I had interview me was energetic, went over questions about my background and was probing me on my personality more and how it would fit with the company as it seems like it would be a type of culture in which mostly men work there. By going to the face to face interview I was right about people being young and have that guys clubhouse mentality. They were playing rap music which I don't know if that's seem professional for an interview setting. The two girls that interviewed me had a face when I walked in but interviewed and ask the same questions regardless. I just feel they knew I wouldn't be able to fit with this crowd as I seem like to them as a mature person. One word advice to someone looking to join them just be cool!! I guess

Technical Recruiter
Someone reached out to me on LinkedIn to chat about my wants and interests. We had a friendly, personable back-and-forth before they invited me to come in and speak with them and their supervisor. When I arrived, the person I'd spoken with met me in the waiting area, greeted me, and we went over the same topics we discussed on the phone. The second interview was with the head of the New York location. We talked in depth about my family, upbringing, dreams, and aspirations. He's a very intelligent individual who clearly loves his job.

Recruiter
I was contacted by HR for a recruiter role, which was also referred to as a management trainee program. The initial HR contact was professional. The first interview was a phone screen where they asked a lot about my background. Then there was an in-person interview with the same person, which felt a bit redundant as they asked most of the same questions. They went into detail about the program, and I realized there wasn't much room for growth. The second interview was with a Team Manager who had a thick UK accent, making it hard to understand some questions. The office environment seemed a bit off – small, with marks on the walls and mostly young guys. The interview room was small, and I could hear inappropriate conversations from employees outside about inappropriate topics. HR later informed me I didn't get the role, which I'm relieved about, as it seemed like a 'frat boy' culture.
- What's your motivation for getting into recruiting? Do you possess any sales abilities?
- Can you elaborate on why you're interested in recruiting and if you have sales skills?
- Tell me about your background and experience.
