Delivery Consultant
It was pretty easy, though sometimes a bit different because the internal recruiter was a bit disorganized. I actually skipped talking to her since she wasn't available and went straight to the onsite interview with the team leads. Normally, it's a phone interview with the internal recruiter, followed by an interview with both the internal recruiter and team leads.
- Can you tell me about your motivation for applying?
Recruiting Consultant
It started with a group interview, gotta stand out to move on. Then, a 1:1 if they liked you. They're really looking for someone who fits their frat boy culture.
- What would you do with $50,000 if you received it right now?
Recruiter
I was contacted by HR for a recruiter role, which was also referred to as a management trainee program. The initial HR contact was professional. The first interview was a phone screen where they asked a lot about my background. Then there was an in-person interview with the same person, which felt a bit redundant as they asked most of the same questions. They went into detail about the program, and I realized there wasn't much room for growth. The second interview was with a Team Manager who had a thick UK accent, making it hard to understand some questions. The office environment seemed a bit off – small, with marks on the walls and mostly young guys. The interview room was small, and I could hear inappropriate conversations from employees outside about inappropriate topics. HR later informed me I didn't get the role, which I'm relieved about, as it seemed like a 'frat boy' culture.
- What's your motivation for getting into recruiting? Do you possess any sales abilities?
- Can you elaborate on why you're interested in recruiting and if you have sales skills?
- Tell me about your background and experience.
Associate Consultant
It started with a quick phone screening. The HR person was nice and explained everything, saying I'd be put forward for two more interviews via Skype. After the first Skype interview, though, I never heard back.
- Can you tell me about Eliott Browne?
