Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Elis.
Production Operator
We arrived in a room where we were given a smock and shoes to visit the factory and learn about how it works, etc. Afterward, we filled out a questionnaire and then had individual interviews.
- Can you handle a certain production pace?
Production
We had a casual chat and then a presentation for the senior management. The presentation was about a case study on how to make direct improvements to the site and handle crisis situations. After the presentation, we had a short Q&A, followed by a tour of the site and introductions to the rest of the team.
- Can you tell me about your past experience in this role?
Production Supervisor
First, there's an HR interview to understand your motivations, present the job, and for you to present your profile and personality. They're not looking for trick questions, just getting to know you. Then, the technical part has two phases: one focuses on your past experiences and achievements to see if you're up to the task, and the other is more personal, trying to establish a connection between the manager and their future colleague.
- Can you introduce yourself in 3 minutes?
- What makes you stand out compared to your classmates?
- What personal experiences or assets do you have that are advantageous for this position?
