First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Elevance Health.
Registered Nurse
Had a bad interview experience. It was a panel interview with 4 people. Only one person communicated, the other 3 were muted and had no video, so I wasn't sure if they were even there. The managers' names were different from what the recruiter's email said. The interviewer didn't state her title, so I didn't know her position.
- Can you share about yourself and your experience?
Nurse
Did a video interview with a lady who basically read a script about Elevance Health and its mission. It was kinda awkward since I could've read that myself. She asked some behavioral questions about managing stress, conflict with coworkers, and disagreements with managers. Then, there were some diagnostic questions. I've got 13 years of nursing experience (Med-surg, ER, Oncology, Urgent Care, ICU, Step-down, PACU, you name it) and past supervisor roles in CA. They offered $34/hr, which I found pretty low given my experience, so I declined. I'm not interested in companies that don't pay their staff fairly.
- How do you handle stress at work?
- How do you deal with conflict at work?
Nurse
Had 2 interviews after the initial screening. The first was with the manager, and the last was a peer review. Received an offer about 2.5 weeks later. Overall, it was a good remote experience. The hiring manager answered all my questions.
- Do you know the purpose of "medication"?
