First there was a phone screen, mostly just logistics stuff. If you passed that, the next interview was like 3 parts, all 30 minutes each, so 1.5 hrs total. It was mostly behavioral questions about teamwork, what you seek in a coworker, and balancing work with studying. They also asked about my resume, so be ready to give examples of how you made a difference. For example, if you wrote something like 'managed x y z to explain a b c...', be prepared to elaborate on what that actually means.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Can you share an instance of working with someone difficult?
  • Tell me about a time you juggled studying and work.
  • What qualities do you value in a colleague?

We arranged an online meeting, and then we met in a small room. It was like a round table with three people, and they had a set of questions about my experience and some hypothetical ones. The whole thing took about two weeks, and the actual interview was about an hour.

Behavioral

The interview was pretty laid-back. The person interviewing me was a new grad and seemed more nervous than I was, often pausing mid-sentence. They didn't sound super excited about Anthem. It was a standard behavioral interview, but one question about healthcare industry issues caught me a bit off guard.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you identify issues within the current healthcare industry, propose solutions, and explain how you would implement them?
