Quality Assurance Engineer
So the interview process usually kicks off with a chat with HR. Then, we dive into some QA knowledge questions, covering things like Scrum, Agile, and general testing concepts. After that, we'll talk about how you approach QA workflow and processes. There might also be a quick online coding test thrown in before we wrap up with a final interview to see if you're a culture fit.
- Can you tell me about your Scrum and Agile QA knowledge?
- Are you able to complete QA coding tests?
- Do you have any soft skill or cultural fit questions for us?
Software QA Engineer
We'll start with a chat about your background and dive into some questions about your experience. Then, we'll go over some general QA stuff, like methodologies and processes. After that, we'll hit you with some scenario-based questions, and finally, wrap things up with two coding questions.
- What made you decide to leave your previous job?
- Can you describe your professional background?
- What's your take on QA methodologies and processes?
Senior QA Analyst
The interview process was meant to have 2 rounds, not counting HR. Both rounds went well, so well that I was offered an additional interview for a Lead QA role, which I couldn't take due to lack of lead experience, but they said I'd still be considered for the senior role. However, the process involves third-party HR consultants who seem to disregard candidates. I was expecting an offer quickly, but they delayed so much that I accepted another offer, which they wouldn't match. I still chose EA, but they continued to stall without explanation. I tried to follow up with the consultant, my sole contact, but they ignored my situation for two weeks. When I involved the EA interviewers directly, the consultants got upset and told me to retract my email to EA. When I refused, they cut me as a candidate. So, overall, poor HR practices throughout the company, which predictably leads to losing candidates. Glad I didn't join. This is the second time EA's HR has failed me. Definitely wouldn't recommend this company for serious candidates.
- Can you tell me about the games you've played, what your typical day was like at your last job, and what your previous roles and responsibilities entailed?
- What kind of games have you played, what did your day look like in your previous organization, and what were your previous roles and responsibilities?
- Could you describe the games you play, your daily routine at your prior company, and your past roles and responsibilities?
