The interview process was really good and the people were super friendly. The recruiter was amazing, and the panel interview was also good; I got to meet some cool artists. They asked questions mostly about teamwork rather than art skills, and although I felt I answered them very well, I didn't end up getting an offer.

I talked to a recruiter for the first interview and then a second recruiter and then the lighting team. I enjoyed meeting everyone and it was amazing. I ended up receiving a verbal offer from the recruiter by phone, I was so excited. I told her I needed time to think and plan before accepting and she said take your time. After about a week I reached out to accept the offer and she never wrote me back at all. She didn't write me to tell they had moved on or anything. I was devastated, which is what brought the experience to a negative review. I don't put that on the team or anything, they were great! I would have loved to been able to work with them and hopefully in the future also.

It was my 3rd time interviewing for a position as an animator at EA. It always starts with a recruiter call. Then there are one or two more interviews. This time, I had one interview after the recruiter call with a Supervisor and a Director. They both didn't seem very interested in me or my work. They seemed to be just going through the motions. It felt like they already had someone in mind for the role.
