First, they look at your resume and cover letter to see if you fit the basic stuff. If you do, HR gives you a quick call or video chat to check your communication, basic knowledge, and if you vibe with the company. Then, you'll likely meet the hiring manager and some team members for a panel or one-on-one chat, either in person or online, to talk about your experience, skills, and how you'd handle job scenarios. After that, there might be a skills test, case study, or presentation related to the job. Finally, you'll meet with senior folks or management to make sure you align with the company's goals and values. Once all that's done, they'll check your references and do a background check. If everything checks out, you'll get the job offer with all the details.

This was a really weird interview. Started with an outsourced recruiter, then an HR person who was not interested in my experience and didn't share company info or let me ask questions. Then came a completely ridiculous IQ test, just solving riddles. After that, a super boring interview with another manager who was clearly yawning, had terrible English, and didn't care about my background. Then a whiteboard case study with frustrating, back-and-forth feedback. Finally, they asked some riddles about patties, words in a month, and water jug problems, which felt like massive red flags. The interviewer then asked if I had questions, but his answers were bland and uninspiring, leaving a bad impression. I eventually got a rejection, which was fine because I wouldn't have accepted an offer from a company with such a bizarre interview process.

So I went through 3 interviews and then I declined the 4th one because I had already accepted another job offer. Just so you know, all the interviews are recorded, I'm guessing so they can refer back to them and take notes after the call. The first interview was a basic screening interview where they asked me a bunch of standard interview questions. If you pass that, you move on to the next interview. The second interview was with the hiring manager, and we talked about my experience and the role, pretty standard stuff. The third interview was the technical one. It was quite challenging because I'm not super strong in programming, but it did cover javascript, html/css, python, VBA, and some other areas. However, this part is mostly to gauge your experience and isn't really a pass/fail thing. The fourth interview was supposed to be a mock technical demo of a software I chose. I had to cancel it though since I had already accepted another offer.
