The interview process was pretty smooth and communication was great throughout. It started with a recruiter screen, then a call with the hiring manager. After that, there was a stakeholder interview, and finally, a VP on recruiting for the last step.

I applied online and a week later I had my first phone interview. After another phone interview, I went onsite for an interview with 6 team members. The last interview was a Skype call with the CEO. The whole process was pretty quick and transparent. Everyone was friendly and helpful via email and phone. It only took a few days for them to get back to me about the next steps, and I always knew what was coming and how to get ready. Knowing a bit about the company first was helpful. The offer came pretty fast with a start date sooner than I expected. Everyone was very welcoming at the onsite interview. The company's brand really won me over.

This process at Elastic was really disappointing. It took them close to two months and involved seven interviews, only for me to be told the role isn't available anymore. I can't believe it took this long to reach that decision, or maybe it's just an excuse. Either way, it's not cool to waste people's time and energy like this. Super let down!
