I was referred for this role and had one of the best interview processes. It started with a call to discuss my background, followed by a formal Zoom call with the recruiter. A few days later, I spoke with the hiring manager. Then, all four interviews were scheduled for a Thursday and Friday a few days after that. After the holidays, there was a two-week delay, and then the recruiter called to offer me the job. Throughout the process, the recruiter kept me updated via phone or email, even over the holidays, so I never felt like I was left wondering about the status.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process felt pretty standard overall. It started with a screening, then a call with the hiring manager and some stakeholders. After that, there was a take-home task, and then interviews with executives. The feedback after each call was quick, and the recruiter was really friendly, helpful, and gave insightful advice. Scheduling the calls was easy and straightforward, and everything happened on time. The whole process felt medium in length. The recruiter provided detailed and lengthy feedback after every step, even when it wasn't positive.

I applied on the Elastic website and connected with the recruiter via email to set up some online interviews. The process moved pretty fast. The interviews felt pretty chill and were mostly about my past work and how it aligns with this job. Since the company is distributed by design, we talked about if I've done this before or if I'm open to it and understand the trade-offs.
