We started with a quick chat with the recruiter, then I spoke with the hiring manager. After that, there were some group discussions with people from different teams, and finally, I had talks with some leaders about strategy, making sure we'd work well together, and if I fit the company culture.

My interview with the hiring manager got pushed back a week because they didn't get the meeting invite. The recruiter canceled the interview an hour before, saying the hiring manager had an emergency (which wasn't true), causing the delay. The next round also got postponed a few days due to time zone differences with the interviewer. I got positive feedback and was told I was a strong candidate. But, two days after my third round, the recruiter told me they offered the job to someone else who was just as good but further along. They then offered me a contract role, saying the hiring team and I connected well and they liked my experience and skills. But a contract role wasn't what I applied for. When I said no to the contract offer and explained why, the recruiter and hiring manager just ghosted me, even though they said they really liked me. It was one of the weirdest interview processes ever. I think better communication and transparency would have helped a lot.

Applied in Aug 2025 and had over 4 interviews with hiring managers spanning 3+ months. Now I've been ghosted, no closure or feedback, just radio silence. I stopped emailing the recruiter after 4 follow-ups. Doesn't reflect well, doubt they're hiring top talent with such a slow process.
