Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Elanco.
Supply Chain Analyst
Had several interview rounds. Started with a screening interview. Then had a few more with different people, which were behavioral using the STAR method. Interviewers were really nice and easy to talk to.
- Tell me about a time you had to work with someone difficult.
Planner
So at Elanco, the interview process is pretty standard. You start with a phone screening where the recruiter just chats with you about your resume and the job. If that goes well, you move on to face-to-face interviews. Sometimes this involves meeting a bunch of people, and other times you might have a call with more interviewers. They're really nice and professional, and they'll ask you stuff about your background, your technical skills, and if you'd be a good fit.
- Can you share some of your past experiences?
- Describe how you handle different situations.
Supply Chain Intern
We had an in-person interview. They took us out for a professional dinner the day before the interviews. Three panelists asked all behavioral questions. We had 30 minutes of interview with each interviewer.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult manager.
- What are your reasons for wanting to work at Elanco?
