The interview process was good and very friendly. I felt confident and it was amazing. It wasn't too rushed and didn't take too long, I enjoyed it. I gained good knowledge and it was informative. The people were good and everything went really well, amazing.
- How are you?
Marketing Executive
First, I had an HR interview where we covered general topics. Then, I interviewed with the Senior Manager. This round involved skill and knowledge testing, a background check, an English conversation, questions about my expectations, and salary negotiation.
- Regarding your GPA, you had a low grade in a specific course. How do you think you can fit this position?
- You performed poorly in that course, so how are you going to fit our position?
Management Trainee
It took 4 application processes. The first one is to join the online Open House session (because it's during the covid pandemic). After that, you will have to apply on the link within the Open House day. You will only get the link when you attend the event. It took around two days to get the online aptitude test link. Only person who passes the online aptitude test will be considered for the next process, the assessment center. Assessment center day consists of 2 sections which are group assessment and individual assessment. For the group assessment, they put you in a group of 10 candidates and assign you to come up with business strategy within 10 mins and 45 mins. Everyone in the group have to take part in the presentation. (It's such a competitive interview)
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
- What strategies would you propose for us to outperform our competitors?
Training Manager
I was interviewed by the Head of Personnel - Retail Operations and two of her assistants during a large recruitment event at a hotel. They told me to act naturally, as it was supposed to be an informal interview, but it felt more like a regular conversation. This made me feel relaxed, and I was able to answer all the questions smoothly and naturally. It was a great experience and one of the most impressive interviews I've had. By the end, I was sure they were happy with my answers and would offer me the job, which they did.
- Regarding your experience translating a 'highly technical' document for the Department of Groundwater Resources as a freelance translator, how would you approach a situation where you faced difficulties with specific technical terms and concepts?
- What would be your strategy for resolving problems encountered during a technical translation assignment?
