Inside Sales Representative
I was recommended by an employee due to my language skills and sales experience. The interview itself went well, I passed my tests and conveyed my experience effectively. However, the next stage involved a very difficult interviewer, whom I recall being from the UK. She made the experience incredibly intimidating, asking me why they should hire a 'grasshopper' and inquiring about my personal savings. The questioning was relentless, making me justify myself to the point where I felt I was offering to work weekends and nights. Despite my strong personality, I was overwhelmed and, after leaving the room, I broke down in tears. After I calmed down, the recruiter informed me I had reached the final stage with the Director/CEO, who apparently just likes to introduce himself. I expressed my strong disagreement with her rude treatment, stating that people like her shouldn't be in such positions and that her behavior was unacceptable. It's been 4 years, and that experience remains the worst I've had. They offered me the chance to return the next day for the final interview, but I declined. I never went back.
- Given that you change jobs every 6 months to a year, why should we consider hiring a grasshopper like you?
- What is the amount of savings you currently have?
- Is your interest in this role driven by financial gain or genuine interest?
Inside Sales Representative
The process was slow and not transparent. It started with a recruiter call, which was superficial as usual. Then there was a briefing about an assessment that was too long. After that, they shared information about the assessment which was full of mistakes and unclear. The third stage was the assessment itself, followed by feedback from the line manager/interview. The fourth stage was an interview with the line manager and their manager. They took so long to provide feedback that you could only tell them 'have a nice life' and look for another job.
- When I call you next week to tell you you got the job, what do you say?
- When I call you next week to tell you you didn't get the job, what do you say?
Sales Representative
First, you'll need to submit a motivation letter. Then, there will be role plays and an introduction interview. Finally, management will make a decision. You need to demonstrate professionalism and interactive skills. A winner's attitude is crucial, along with a high personal drive for achieving goals and completing tasks.
- What made you choose sales?
