Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eileen Fisher.
Sales Associate
I was interviewed for three months straight. Had lots of interviews with many different people who had many different titles, and at many different times. I think I had six interviews in total, and they all asked the same industry standard questions. Be prepared for long waits between interviews and for them to get back to you. It gives you a lot of experience interviewing and with different question styles.
- Do you know what the company is all about?
- Can you answer normal industry standard questions?
Retail Sales Associate
I applied both online and in person. It was pretty straightforward because they really needed more associates, but that doesn't mean they'll hire just anyone! You really need to be enthusiastic about their initiatives, like women empowerment and sustainability, and just have a good attitude, show that you're a team player, respectful, and a hard worker.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Sales Associate
It was a pretty straightforward interview process. They asked some basic questions about my experience, how I handle situations, and why I was interested in working for them. It was a single interview that took place in person at the store, and it happened within a week after I applied.
- Why did you want to join this company?
