Sales Representative
Had a 3-4 interview process. Got to the last interview with the supervisor and they told me I was being pushed towards an offer and asked if I would accept it, and I said yes verbally. They said I should hear by early the next week to get things rolling. Weeks went by with no word back. My other job opportunities expired in the meantime and any time I tried to follow up, my calls were ignored or brushed off. After my final follow-up attempt 3 weeks later, they finally got back to me with a "sorry we filled the position." This left me jobless and my family in a tough spot.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience?
- How comfortable are you with navigating systems, and can you show me?
Sales Representative
I applied on indeed then was sent an online assessment. After passing the assessment, I was contacted by email for a phone interview which was more like checking boxes to make sure I was a viable candidate. After this, I was contacted by email to set up a zoom interview with the area supervisor. The interview went great and the supervisor was very personable.
- Could you describe your sales process?
- What makes you interested in eHealth?
- What is the biggest challenge you face in sales?
Sales Representative
I had a 30-minute phone chat about my background and the company. Then, I went in person. First, I met with a supervisor who asked about my achievements, if I'm competitive, and we did a role-play selling a bike. After that, a manager talked about the job and compensation, and then offered me the job. Later, the HR recruiter called and said she'd be sending paperwork by email.
- How competitive would you say you are on a scale of 1 to 10?
- Let's do a role-play where you sell me a bicycle.
- Give me your one-minute pitch for why you're the right hire for this role.
