Started with a phone interview where they asked basic questions about my history and the technologies I've used. Then, I had an on-site interview that lasted about 4 hours. I met with about 6 people from the team, including engineers, designers, and project managers. I also had lunch with the head of mobile.

The interview process began with a 45-minute phone screen focusing on theoretical Java concepts, particularly data structures and concurrency. This was followed by a 45-minute Skype interview where I had to solve a Java programming problem using collabedit. The final stage was an onsite interview at the Westwood office in LA, which lasted from 11 am to 4:45 pm. It involved several 45-minute sessions with different interviewers assessing my Java coding skills, understanding of multi-threading, design patterns, and basic SQL. Lunch was included with one interviewer at an Italian restaurant nearby. The new Westwood office is nice, and the interviewers were friendly. The recruiter was very helpful in keeping me updated throughout the process. Overall, the interview experience met my expectations set by the initial rounds.

First, I spoke with the recruiter about the job and the company. Then, I had a phone interview with the Hiring Manager where they asked basic technical questions about Java, the Internet, databases, HTTP, REST, and open-source frameworks. The onsite interview was quite long, with 4 rounds of 45-minute interviews with different developers. It felt like they expected very precise answers, as if I had practiced them beforehand. If you didn't know the answer exactly or tried to solve programming problems differently, you likely wouldn't get the offer due to the time constraints.
