This was a horrible interview process! The recruiter didn't seem to know what she was talking about and asked if I did sem/ppc. After I explained my ppc experience, she asked about my sem experience. The phone call interview took about 5 months to get, so there's a clear problem. Upper management and the CEO need to look into what's happening because this job listing has been open for 5 months, and I can see why. The people were rude, lacked knowledge of digital marketing, and wouldn't let me finish my sentences. She cut me off and said to just answer the questions she asks. Have some respect and learn how to treat people. She then asked about my in-house experience, meaning anything done internally. She told me agency experience doesn't count as in-house experience. So agencies don't count as an in-house position? I can clearly see why this job has been open for 5 months. I bet subscriber numbers are low and no one has a clue what they're doing. Good luck working here. You'll do all the work and deal with people who don't have a clue.

The interview process began with a 45-minute phone screen focusing on theoretical Java concepts, particularly data structures and concurrency. This was followed by a 45-minute Skype interview where I had to solve a Java programming problem using collabedit. The final stage was an onsite interview at the Westwood office in LA, which lasted from 11 am to 4:45 pm. It involved several 45-minute sessions with different interviewers assessing my Java coding skills, understanding of multi-threading, design patterns, and basic SQL. Lunch was included with one interviewer at an Italian restaurant nearby. The new Westwood office is nice, and the interviewers were friendly. The recruiter was very helpful in keeping me updated throughout the process. Overall, the interview experience met my expectations set by the initial rounds.

It was a pretty straightforward phone interview. They weren't technical and the interviewers were super nice. The whole thing involved a few rounds, starting with HR and going all the way up to an executive, so definitely be ready for it to take a bit of time. It was mostly just basic interview stuff like 'tell me about yourself'.

I applied online, and the first call was with HR, who mostly talked about the company. It was a brief 10-minute chat, and then they scheduled a technical round. The interviewer seemed to be a principal engineer and was a bit abrupt, like a rapid-fire session with diverse questions, not much time to think.
