Sales
This company's interview process feels like it takes forever and is kind of all over the place, which made me think they might be disorganized. There were just too many interviews with different people. Honestly, none of the interviews were that tough, but it did end up taking up a lot of my time.
- Can you tell me about how you go about building your sales pipeline?
- Walk me through your approach to closing deals.
- What's your strategy for managing relationships with customers?
Inside Sales
I met with a bunch of different motivated folks. Everyone seemed super stoked to be there and genuinely wanted to get to know me. I chatted with several employees who were in my role and also some who were a level or two above me. They've been doing really well lately and just moved offices, so the whole vibe was one of excitement and potential.
- Could you share some information about yourself?
Sales
Applied online and a recruiter called me not long after. He asked some good questions and made sure to understand my professional background before inviting me for an in-person interview - he really represented the company well. It seems like this company wants to hire the right person the first time around. They had me sit with three people who were in the role I'd be doing, and we talked about the good and bad parts of the job and they tried to figure out my experience and how I'd fit in. After that, I met with the VP, who was friendly and easy to talk to, like a consultant. I really wanted to work for him after our chat; I could tell I'd learn a lot. Sadly, they didn't get back to me until I'd already accepted another job, or I would have kept talking to them.
- They asked questions to understand who you are as a person, your personality, and your strengths and weaknesses.
- They are really looking for someone who is a strong cultural fit and will have the work ethic to succeed.
- There are no trick questions; you just need to be yourself.
