Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Egen.
Senior Frontend Developer
The interview process had 4 rounds. First was HR, second a test, third a technical interview, and fourth a managerial interview. The HR person started ghosting me with no feedback after the technical round, even though they used to call multiple times a day to schedule interviews before that. Seriously, learn to provide feedback instead of ghosting candidates.
- What are your Javascript concepts?
- Tell me about your deep knowledge of Angular.
- Can you explain HTML concepts?
Front End Developer
It started with an online coding test that was of medium difficulty. Then, there was a 1 to 1 technical interview where I had to integrate an API into an Angular app using live coding. The interviewer was from the US and was good. Next, another 1 to 1 technical interview involved an array-based Algo question. This interviewer was from the US too and sounded arrogant. After clearing all these rounds, a recruiter called and offered me 63% less than my current salary. This is a really bad experience and a waste of my time. Management should improve their process because everyone's time is valuable. I don't recommend this company.
- Integrate an API into an Angular application
- Write code to find the three numbers in an array that yield the largest product when multiplied together
Front End Developer
Just go through the training process and you will be fine. Kashyap knows his stuff. Pay attention to AngularJS part as this is what the main job is. Praveen will ask you questions based out of AngularJS and your project.
- Can you explain Directives?
- Can you explain Controllers?
- Can you explain Services?
