I went through a multi-stage interview process that started with HR, moved to a 90-minute aptitude test, and then a take-home project. I dedicated a full working day, about 8-10 hours, to building the project and making sure it was perfect. To receive nothing but a generic rejection email after that level of effort was incredibly disrespectful of my time. I received no reply from the HR after i asked for feedback since i spent considerable time for the interview processes. Basically a waste of time.

I applied online. The HR person called me and asked some basic questions, then told me a technical person would call for the first round. I passed that round. They invited me to their Pune office and even provided flight tickets and accommodation for one night. The process started with a written test which had MCQs on Java/J2EE and a question about the hardest challenge I'd faced at work. After that, I had two technical interviews and one HR interview.

So basically there were 4 rounds in total. The first one was a phone call, lasted about 45 minutes, and had some basic stuff and a few industry-related questions. If you passed that, you'd go to their Pune office for the face-to-face interviews, which had 3 rounds, and then an HR chat. The whole interview process took about 4 hours and included deep dives into Core Java, how application servers act in certain scenarios, and a detailed design problem.

  • Can you design a parking lot?
