First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Efficio.
Senior Manager
Started with an initial screening call with HR, then there were 3 more rounds. Round 1 was competency-focused with a Director/VP. After that, there was an online aptitude test. Round 2 was a case study with a Principal, and the final round was in person with 2 VPs. HR was quick to respond between interviews, and the interviews gave a good understanding of working at the firm.
- Could you explain your interest in Efficio and the value you believe you can contribute to the firm?
Manager
The whole interview process was smooth, well-organised, and surprisingly enjoyable. From the beginning, communication was clear and consistent. The recruiter laid out the steps early on, so I knew exactly what to expect and had time to prepare properly. Each stage felt structured but still relaxed - more like genuine conversations than a grilling. The interviewers came across as friendly, switched-on, and clearly interested in both my background and how I might fit into the team. One thing that really stood out was how much they cared about team fit and personal growth - it was definitely not just ticking boxes. It wasn’t just about skills; they wanted to know how I’d work with others, what motivates me, and where I see myself heading. Updates came quickly after each stage, which kept the momentum going and made the whole experience feel respectful and professional. All in all, it left a great impression and made me even more excited about the opportunity and the company culture.
- Can you share an instance where you managed a challenging stakeholder?
Senior Manager
First, there was an online numerical test. If you passed that, you then had an in-person interview with two principal consultants for about 1.5 hours. They asked general questions about your experience and skills from your CV, your motivations for applying, and why you're interested in efficio. They mentioned a consulting case study might be included, but we ran out of time. Immediately after the face-to-face interview, there was an Excel case study. It was straightforward, requiring functions like INDEX, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and COUNTIFS, and you had one hour to complete it. While the formulas themselves weren't too complex, the case study was quite time-consuming. If you pass these two rounds, the next step would be an interview with the CEO.
- What's the main thing you'd want someone to know about your experience at your current job?
- Can you describe a project you really enjoyed and what your contribution was?
- What is the key learning from your current role?
