First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Efficio.
Business Analyst
You start with a phone call with HR. Then, you have to take an SHL test. After that, there's an interview with two senior consultants that includes a case study. The fourth step is an interview with a senior manager, also including a case study. The case studies differ, but they all involve a lot of math, sometimes with a calculator, but usually not. Finally, HR gives you feedback. In my case, they missed the feedback deadlines a few times, and I waited over two weeks for a response sometimes.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in Efficio?
- What kind of projects do you think clients typically bring to the company?
- What is your definition of supply chain management?
Business Analyst
So after passing this online test on a new platform that required dragging and dropping, I got invited for a case study interview. The email mentioned it would probably be a market sizing question about procurement. The interview itself was with two senior consultants from different areas, and they started with a 15-minute intro about their experiences, the company, and the role. I mostly led the case study, with some guidance from the interviewers. After the market sizing, we discussed strategic questions about changes in demand and supply shifts. I actually liked the interview process, felt less stressed than usual.
- Can you estimate the yearly revenue of the UK radiators market?
- What factors might affect the demand for radiators?
- For a client with a radiator production facility, what are ways to reduce their costs?
Business Analyst
First I had to do an online test, which I passed. Then there was a conversation with 2 consultants, which was very pleasant. Here questions like my motivation to work in consulting and specifically at Efficio, as well as questions about my resume were asked. There was also a small case, which was however quite simple. In the next round there was a conversation with principals. Here the relationship was already much more formal and we used the formal 'Sie'. The case was also more demanding. Additionally, I had to do an Excel test, which took over an hour. This was rather average. Ultimately, I didn't get an offer due to my poor performance in the 2nd case.
- What is your motivation for pursuing a career in consulting, and why Efficio specifically?
