I sent in my application online and a few days later, an HR rep got in touch. They asked me a few easy questions and then set up an interview for the very next day. The interview itself was pretty simple, mainly because I had done my homework and knew what to ask. Tyson addressed all the questions I had about the job and gave me a solid understanding of what I'd potentially be doing. It's absolutely not true that Effectus is a multi-level marketing company! That person clearly didn't ask the right questions or had some pre-existing ideas about marketing. All in all, the process felt very straightforward and not at all misleading like some people have said. Effectus promotes from within, so starting at an entry-level position makes sense. If candidates do their research and ask smart questions, they should leave with a clear picture of the role if they get an offer.

The first interview was a really professional one, mostly asking about my personal background. They wanted to know about my interest in this entry-level job, my goals, and my personality. The second interview involved an onsite field demonstration. A recruiter showed me exactly how they run a campaign and then asked for my feelings and thoughts about it.

This company has multiple job postings for what seems to be the same role, which is confusing. The job descriptions don't really explain what the company does or what the job entails. Basically, they want you to promote their clients' products by doing presentations in places like grocery stores, and this detail only comes out during the interview, not in the posting.
