The admin lady for the Eastbourne site who handles bookings and expenses is really difficult to work with; she doesn’t reply to emails unless you chase her constantly. She tells you what you want to hear but doesn't follow through. I only checked Glassdoor after booking to see other reviews about her and expense issues, which unfortunately happened to me too. My expenses were high as I had to fly and stay overnight. She just ignored emails for 7 months until a different lady, who ran the assessment day, sorted it out. This was a poor experience compared to other assessment centres that covered hotels and taxis and paid expenses quickly. The assessment day started with an intro, then we assembled a model car kit under pressure with added time. Next was a communication task where we were blindfolded to find missing shapes from a set. Then, a Q&A session with a manager due to computer issues. Finally, in groups, we designed a paper bridge to hold M16 nuts, estimating the paper needed beforehand. Our group won by rolling paper tubes and taping them.
