First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Edwards.
Engineering Manager
We started with a Teams call for introductions, about half an hour. After that, there were some timed leadership review exams. This was followed by a Face to Face presentation and competency questions, lasting about an hour and a half. The interview process also included a tour of the assembly facilities.
- What is your structured approach for the first 3 months?
Senior Software Engineer
The interview process involved a presentation on the wesp, followed by questions related to the technical subjects covered in the presentation. Additionally, there was a question about the process of making a pencil sharpener, including the materials to be used and the manufacturing approach.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with conflict.
- Can you give a presentation on the wesp?
- What are the technical subjects related to the presentation?
Graduate Program
First I sent in my CV and answered some written questions. Then there were online assessments about my personality and such, followed by an interview with two employees. I was then invited to a final HR graduate interview, but they cancelled it a day before, saying they found the right candidate and didn't want to waste my time. It's okay to be rejected, but they didn't give me a fair chance at the final stage they offered me, which felt unprofessional. They should interview all selected candidates, compare them, and then decide. So I won't apply there again.
- Can you explain your interest in an HR role?
- Please introduce yourself.
- What sparked your interest in applying to Edwards?
Application Engineer
A recruiter reached out and helped set up the first interview. I met with the hiring manager and her boss, where we discussed my past experiences and achievements. For the analytical part, the hiring manager had me do some troubleshooting on Excel raw files to see my thought process. Both interviewers were nice. The second interview involved a case study presentation with three interviewers. I was surprised by the third interviewer as I wasn't told about them, and they asked questions already covered in the first round, which felt like a waste of time. A strange thing was that all interviewers asked about my marital status.
- Could you start by telling us about yourself?
- What do you consider to be your strengths and weaknesses?
- What is your proudest professional achievement?
