First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Edwards Lifesciences.
Executive Assistant
I applied online. The recruiter cold-called me and left a message because I was on another call, but I called back within 20 minutes. The recruiter didn't answer, so I left a detailed message saying I was available all day or could be reached by email. I never heard back. It's frustrating when this happens; it feels like a game and sets candidates up for failure because I wasn't available when they decided to call. I was initially excited about interviewing here, but as a highly-qualified candidate, I don't appreciate recruiters acting like this, so I'm going to focus my efforts on other opportunities.
- Do you possess 6 years of direct experience in executive administrative support?
Executive Assistant
I applied and got an email from talent acquisition the day after. First, I had a short pre-screen call. About 10 days later, they asked for my work certificate. Then, I had a 1-hour interview with HR. The process ended there because my flexibility needs and their presence needs didn't align.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you encountered in a previous role and explain how you handled it?
Administrative Assistant
The interview process consisted of 2 phone screens and 3 in person interviews. The process was easy and provided a good candidate experience. The Recruiter was very knowledgeable and responsive with the position. I was provided a lot of information about the company at the time and felt like all my questions were answered.
