Business Development Executive
So the first round was a group discussion with about 10 people. The topic was 'The root cause of student suicide in India, and also provide some solution regarding the same'. It was a good discussion, but the HR said none of us had the appropriate level. It seemed like there was no real requirement because some of us were excellent. I think it was just a formality, they just called us for the interview and sent us back saying we weren't good enough after just 5 minutes. How can one conclude in just 5 minutes what an aspirant actually has? It was FAKE.

The company came to our campus for recruitment. The first round was an aptitude test, with all questions sourced from Indiabix, followed by a group discussion. Due to a large number of shortlisted candidates, there was another GD. Afterward, we had a face-to-face interview, and then selected candidates were invited to the Edureka office the next day. At the office, we had an email writing task, followed shortly by HR. I went through two HR rounds. The first HR was pleasant and attentive, while the second and final HR was quite the opposite, maintaining a poker face and staring intently throughout the interview. We were all asked to leave, with the assurance of feedback by the end of the day, but it's been a week with no response. The office environment seemed relaxed, with no strict dress code observed. The work schedule is demanding, with 6 days a week, suggesting a hectic pace. The company seemed concerned about daily commute challenges, as they don't provide transportation, which they openly admitted. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and energy.

The first step was an Email Writing task where you're given a scenario to reply to someone asking about a course and you need to convince them to buy it. (Tip: Check out professional email writing examples beforehand). Next, there was an Aptitude Test with basic arithmetic and algebra questions, 30 in total, pretty easy if you're decent at math. The third round was a Sales Round with HR. You'll be asked to visit their site, get familiar with a course, and then sell it back to the HR. They give you about 30-40 minutes to prep after asking you to introduce yourself and some basic HR questions. If you pass this, you move to the final interview. (My advice: Prepare a course from their site beforehand). Overall, it's an average difficulty process.
