First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EducationDynamics.
Student Support Coach
I first applied online through indeed.com. Then, I got an email that asked me to answer 8 interview questions. After that, I got a response inviting me to a 30-minute phone screen. I picked a date and time that worked for me for the phone screen.
- Can you tell me what you know about Education Dynamics and how we help colleges and universities?
Digital Marketing Strategist
Went through the whole interview process and never heard back. The conversations weren't very back-and-forth. It took up a lot of our time, and they didn't even bother to send a rejection email.
- They asked most of the questions from the screener.
- There was a lot of repetition in the questions.
Director
I found this role on Indeed. The process began with a recruiter screening call, followed by another screening call with the hiring manager. After that, I had hour-long interviews with both the hiring manager (who is a VP) and the CRO. The company's business focuses on consumer-facing sites that collect data from college and grad students by asking them questions, and then they sell this data to online colleges. The interviews themselves were fine, but the main issue was the complete lack of follow-up. I sent thank-you emails after the interviews and followed up ten days later with the hiring manager and HR, but received no response. The interview was in July, and it's now mid-September, which is unacceptable, especially considering the time invested (30 minutes on the phone, two hours in person, plus hours spent researching their business and preparing for a scenario question). While this effort doesn't guarantee an offer, it certainly warrants a decline notification.
- Given a scenario, how would you approach it?
- Standard interview questions were asked.
Enrollment Coach
The whole process took a while, 4 rounds in total. I got referred and the recruiter contacted me fast. The first call was super quick, like the next day or so. It was just a recruiter call asking about my experience and if I knew about the job or company. Then the recruiter set up a phone call with the manager. That was pretty straightforward, mostly asking about my background and why I wanted the job. After that, I had to send in two writing samples that were like emails to a fake student. Then I did a mock call where I had to use a script and talk to someone like they were a potential student. I also chatted with another Coach to learn about their day-to-day. The last interview was with another manager, but this one was chill, asking the same questions as the first manager. It was a lot of steps, but pretty easy overall.
