First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EDSA.
Landscape Designer
It was a pretty standard interview with HR. No need to show a portfolio or anything. Just went over the usual questions.
- Can you describe your academic and professional background?
- What prompted you to apply to EDSA?
- Are you open to relocating?
Landscape Designer
The interview experience was great. The first stage was a call with HR where we talked about basic info, where I'd prefer to work, and my skills and experience. The second stage involved coming into the office to interview with the team, review my portfolio and projects, and learn about the company culture and work environment.
- Can you describe how you assess your proficiency with software tools?
Landscape Designer
First, the HR person will give a quick intro about the company and ask some basic questions. You won't need to show a portfolio at this stage. The second part is the portfolio round.
- Do you like sketching or using computer presentations more?
- What makes you want to work for edsa?
- Is there a specific office location you'd prefer?
Designer
They didn't hire me because I told them I had been sexually harassed at a previous internship. I really think that's why they passed on me. But honestly, I'm glad I didn't get the job since I heard it's a sweatshop.
- Tell me about how you handle challenging individuals.
