First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Edelman.
Intern
The interview process was respectful and patient, creating a relaxed atmosphere. It involved a self-introduction in English and questions in Cantonese, lasting about 30 minutes. They were interested in my campus life and the personal details on my CV.
- How familiar are you with HK local media and have you ever done media pitching?
Intern
Only went through the first round, which was a phone screening. The recruiter wasn't very engaged and seemed to want to end the call quickly. However, email communication is fast, and they are open about the process and give updates, which is good.
- How do you stay updated on current events and industry trends?
Intern
The interview process started with a recruiter call. Then, there was a technical screen which involved questions about my resume, self-introduction, relevant internship/course experience, and behavioral questions about teamwork, strengths, weaknesses, and handling difficult clients or projects.
- Could you walk me through your resume?
- Tell me about yourself.
- Describe your relevant internship or course experience.
