HR reached out and we talked, and they decided to continue with the interview process. It was a bit strange they didn't ask for my resume since I hadn't applied, but we kept going. I met with two people who were nice but didn't seem very interested in me. The first interviewer wasn't prepared and looked up questions while we were talking. The second interviewer seemed really focused on their LinkedIn followers. They thought I was good, but they ended up choosing someone else and didn't give any real feedback, which is disappointing after investing so much time and effort into the interview.

I had a phone screen with a recruiter, then two video interviews with senior people. There was a delay between interviews, and I had to chase the recruiter about the second interview because of a scheduling issue. I thought it went well, and the recruiter said I was moving on. Even though I was traveling, I rearranged things to do a third and fourth interview with leadership. I didn't hear back after the last one, so I asked, and the recruiter said she'd update me by the end of the week. Nothing happened. Two weeks later, I emailed to finalize things because I had other offers, but got no reply. It was weird because we were pretty open and engaged, and I liked talking to them. This was for a new department, so I get the disorganization, but the disrespect for my time made me dislike Edelman. (I ended up in a senior marketing role at a tech company in the same industry.)
