First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Edeka.
Sales Associate
I interviewed with a few people, and it was a really nice chat. They asked me about things I've done before, what I'm good at and not so good at, why I'm interested in working there, and my career goals for the next few years. I got an offer, but I turned it down.
- What makes you want to be a part of the Edeka team?
Sales Associate
I was interviewed by the shift manager. It was just a side job while I was still studying at university. I was mainly asked questions about my documents and my studies. They urgently needed new employees. So I was already asked to start the trial day next week.
- Have you worked as a cashier before?
- Do you know how to use the codes for cash registers?
- Are you physically fit, or do you have any limitations?
Sales Associate
I handed in my application in person to the store manager and he invited me for an interview 2 weeks later. The interview lasted about 20 minutes. The store manager was very friendly and gave a very competent impression. The atmosphere was pleasant as the conversation was casual, yet factual. I felt comfortable.
- What are your childcare arrangements?
- How is your mobility?
- What is your availability?
