After you apply, you can expect to hear back within a few days. The whole hiring process usually wraps up in about one to two weeks for sales associate positions. For a sales-floor associate (not a management role), the interview process is usually pretty quick and simple — often just one face-to-face meeting.

This interview gave me experience to improve my interview skills, but the overall process, before, during and after wasn't a great experience. The manager was late to the interview and I wasn't made aware of this, neither were the employees at the store. Because of this, the interview seemed rush and unprepared and made me feel unconfident. I was told that I would get a phone call by Thursday or Friday (3/5-3/6) and I didn't receive any response back (I am writing this review on 3/11/2020, 1 week from interview). This is very frustrating, and as someone who is trying to find employment, not receiving a response after being told I would is disappointing. It would have been nice to receive feedback on why I did not get the offer. At this point, I do not want a call back or an apology. As my mother says, just don't do it next time.

Applied online and then had a chat with the store manager about my retail background, when I can work, and if I liked Eddie Bauer. Next, I went to the store for an in-person interview with the store manager and assistant manager. They wanted to know about my experience with customer service problems and why I was interested in working at Eddie Bauer. I talked about how I fit with their outdoor vibe and gave examples of great customer service from my past jobs. It was a relaxed and good conversation.
