I applied online and a recruiter reached out for a phone interview. It was a standard chat asking why I wanted to work for the company. Then I had a longer interview with a Senior Merchandiser, a Director, two Merchandisers, and an Assistant Merchandiser, lasting about 2.5 hours. Everyone seemed great. After that, I met with a VP, Senior VP, and the CEO. I think I stumbled a bit in that second round because I was nervous meeting them. Sadly, about two months after my last interview, I heard the company had a reorg and the position I applied for was cut. I was bummed because I really liked the team.

I went through a few interviews. First, a recruiter called me on the phone. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager on the phone. After that, I met with the hiring manager, some other merchandisers, and the VP of divisional merchandising in person. Finally, I met with the VP of all merchandising in person. I really liked the company vibe. They rushed me into meetings with the team and VPs, which I thought was a good sign, but then I never heard back even after sending a bunch of emails. It's been 4 months now.
